On 5 July 2026, Monte-Carlo Club® had the pleasure of taking part in the Volutes Gourmandes, organised with the Confrérie Jean Nicot in the remarkable setting of the InterContinental Marseille – Hôtel Dieu.
Overlooking the Old Port and Notre-Dame de la Garde, the event brought together cigar houses, industry professionals and enthusiasts around a shared appreciation for fine cigars, their origins and the moments they inspire.
A gathering of cigar houses and enthusiasts
The first part of the event was devoted to discovering the participating partners. It offered a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas, introduce the identity of each house and meet an audience of knowledgeable enthusiasts.
Monte-Carlo Club was joined by:
ARNOLD ANDRÉ | EGM CIGARS | EUROTAB | PLASENCIA | Casa 1910 | VILLIGER | Maya Selva | OLIVA | Scandinavian Tobacco Group | Monte-Carlo Club | No Name.
Beyond the presentations themselves, gatherings of this kind are about listening, comparing impressions and sharing the vision behind each cigar. For Monte-Carlo Club, that means creating cigars defined by elegance, balance and a distinctive personality.
Discovering the Monte-Carlo Club world
Throughout the day, we were delighted to introduce guests to the world of Monte-Carlo Club®, from the craftsmanship of our cigars in Nicaragua to the Mediterranean inspiration that shapes the brand.
Every tasting became the beginning of a conversation—about flavour, memories and the meaningful occasions that a fine cigar can accompany.
Dinner overlooking Marseille
The evening continued on the terrace of the InterContinental Marseille – Hôtel Dieu. As the light softened over the city, guests gathered for dinner accompanied by singing and lively conversation.
The setting and the warmth of the exchanges gave the evening a character of its own: refined yet relaxed, festive while remaining attentive to every detail.
The art of hospitality
We would like to extend our warmest thanks to Stéphanie Imperatore, an exceptional host, and to everyone involved in organising this edition.
Their care and generosity made the Volutes Gourmandes both seamless and memorable—an occasion designed to encourage new encounters and celebrate a shared passion.
A lasting memory of Marseille
